Questions

Image converter FAQ

Are my images uploaded to a server?

No. This version converts images in your browser using local file APIs.

Does PNG to SVG create a real vector?

The current MVP wraps the raster image inside an SVG file. True vector tracing can be added later with a dedicated tracing library.

Which formats are supported?

PNG, JPG/JPEG, WebP, and SVG are supported in the first release.

How does image compression work?

The compressor redraws the image in your browser and exports a smaller JPG or WebP file using your selected quality level.

Can background remover handle every photo?

This simple no-API version removes white or light backgrounds that touch the image edges. Complex AI cutouts can be added later.

How does Image to PDF work?

Each image is placed on its own PDF page. You can choose page size, orientation, margin, and image quality before downloading.

Can I add a watermark?

Yes. Upload an image, open Watermark, enter text, choose a position and opacity, then export the watermarked image.
